Amazon has Joker on, being a batman fan I had to see it. Well going to the movies just did not work out for me so here comes Amazon prime and the firestick option (drop a few bucks and see it in your living room).
Ya I bought it (read as sucker getting his dopamine fix). Well I found it to be completely engrossing. The character development of Joker was twisted, and the undertones WOW.
As I watched the movie I almost could associate with the Joker (Ya it's a movie, your supposed to suspend reality). OK the guy comes for a really screwed up reality and as such so goes his sense of being grounded or not.
The movie has me wondering about the state of what reality means to each of us, and how we deal with the world around us based on what we have lived and experienced. Has what we perceive as the world in our own individual bubble, warped what we see as reality compared to the collective of society? and if so what is sanity in an insane society? Maybe the question is, is being sane just the ability to coexist in the society that we live in?
ANYHOW I liked the movie especially the staircase and following subway scene
