I’d planned on being south this weekend one of the days but I’m home bound for the next few weeks at the very least. It’s looking like my wife is getting her broken arm pinned and immobilized.

I was in the Parsons area on Friday. Not much happening with the foliage yet. The area between Thomas/Davis and Mt Storm has some color.

Heading to Mt Davis (highest point in PA) this afternoon I think.

We are desperate to get out of town, but the weather wasn't looking good in our usual playground.  Looked at WV,  downstate OH, the Louisville area, even weatern PA and the weather everywhere was for rain.  Finally there was a little light in the forecast and we are headed for Deals Gap and one of our favorite routes on Wayah Rd.  Definitely want to get to WV for some serious riding sometime, but not this week.

Colors are getting that brown and rusty red at altitude but little down low. My ride to work peaks at 2880 feet at Keysers Ridge and more color is creeping in up there. Forecast is looking good for next Sunday. Can't do Saturday 'cause of work. Anyone up for that?
