Lenovo G70 17" Windows laptop
« on: January 17, 2019, 12:22:35 PM »
Normal array of ports, 1TB hard drive, 17" screen, i3 processor (dual core version of the quad-core i5 but with hyperthreading so the OS sees it as a quad core). Currently has 4GB ram, but upgradable with standard DDR3 ram to 16GB. $250 shipped in the CON US 48. Please keep the size in mind when countering with offers; I'm not going to eat the full boat shipping on this with lowball offers. It's pretty big. If it sticks around, I'll toss more RAM in it and find a use for it, even if it is Windows. ;)

Good price. I just picked up a dell refurb i3 with half the drive space and no keyboard or monitor (their smallish desktop model) for not much less than that.

Laptop with keyboard, monitor, and double the drive space is well worth the difference.

If no one snatches it up - and I agree, I think it's a decent base for a system - I'm thinking I'll Hackintosh it ;)

How much to switch it to a SSD?
You never see a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrists' office.
Where am I?

Like, have me do it and transfer everything over? How's about just the price of the SSD, or send me one. I'm easy. :) Payment will be that I keep the 1tb spinner for my raid setup. Fair? :)
