I'm somewhere around 4500 miles this season. Not going to complain too much about that. Hoping to spend a week on the bike this fall.

I actually got to ride today. Just 150 miles but a nice ride out to lake Huron. My mileage is shit for the year but hit a milestone number on the Sprint.

I've ridden more this year than I have in the last few combined. And it *might* be 2k. 😐

It has been a horrid month for riding. Only 442 miles.  It might go up if I get home early enough on Wednesday and the weather is nice but I am not holding my breath.

Hopefully this year goes better than last. with temp in the 50's for the rest of the week I may get my first ride of the year in this weekend?

300XC-w.          88.5 hrs.
1190 Adv.         29,363
TLR200.              1,832
Superduke          2,587

well, another dismal year for riding. Only managed one short trip (RedLodge for the weekend)  currently:

300XC-w 113 hrs
1190Adv. 32,548
TLR 200  1,840
Superduke 5,043

Grand total of 24.5hrs. on the dirt bike and 5,469mi. total for the year??  and somehow I justified replacing the 1190 Adv with a 1290 adv. maybe I have a problem?

So sad to hear that, it's breakin' my heart, ya know?

I only managed one long dayride and one weekend trip.

Just turned ~2,800 miles Friday.  That's total on the bike and total for the year.

It's not that I don't want to ride more; I just can't seem to find the time.  I hear ya, Jack!

I hope that included the Chief Joseph Highway and the Bear Tooth Pass!  I've done those in a cage with the family, but I really want to ride those with a bike.

always!  Beartooth is my favorite road, I try to make it over there at least a couple times a year, it's a nice little weekender.

4098 as of 1 July.  About 3000 of that in the last two weeks of June.

It should be over 6000 miles for the year with a lot of pillion time since this last report.  Both my distant SO and my local roommate (not SO).  I'll be back near the bike in a few weeks and might get another few rides in before the end of the year.

I did not reanimate the /7 quite yet.  This winter, maybe.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation.

managed to get 650 miles on the new 1290 so I'm barely over6k for the year. pretty sure that's going to be it.

My riding season's officially over. I've got 17K KM on my RT and about 8.5K on a R1250RT and GS in Europe.
It was a wet and cold, then wet and humid, then extremely hot, then cold again kind of season.
I don't mind wet, cold, windy but 42°C (108°F) is way too hot for me.
Ride safe!

After today's afternoon ride, I'm done for the year...

2017 KTM Super Duke GT: 8671 miles
2009 KTM 530 EXC: 710 miles
-------------------------------------------
TOTAL = 9381 miles

Meh... Was hoping for 10K+. The Weather Gods foiled my plans for a foliage ride in late October/early November.

I need to do a week-long trip on the Super Duke next season and take the 530 out for a full days ride at least once a month.

Starting the year with 84,452 miles on my 2010 R1200 GS. Really really really would like to add a bike to the garage.

Hopefully I will be getting the first ride of the year in on Saturday.

89,546. 5,094 miles for the year. Will update if anything changes, but overall, not as good as I hoped. Total does not include mileage on service loaners, which is another 500-1000. 2020 should see 100k, with a little luck.

56115 on Ernst.  I'll edit this post as I reanimate the other bikes.

All on Ernst.  Ending reading is 62863.

6,748 miles.  About the same as the previous two years combined.  Having a pillion partner at the other end of Hwy 96 helps!

2014 Honda Valk starting mileage,
                              January 2019, - 31,200mi..

I have PMS real bad, spending to much time researching new bikes.
Hopefully when I get back in the saddle I'll say, "ya baby I forgot how awesome this bike is, I'll never sell it!".
  We'll see?
And I'll let youz know.

As of today,
  38,680mi.
so a grand total of 7,840mi. for 2019.
I didn't do to bad considering only day rides.

Update on the Valk:

I've been researching new bikes, even went to the NY.City, MC Show to look.
Decided to keep it another year. I'll install heated grips and a tall windscreen before Spring.

Guess I have to start a new post for the RS....starting mileage is 7472.

Well, not as much as I would have liked but ended with 10067. Put me just shy of 2600. Next year I hope to double that. Also, my commute is 2.5 miles one way so....I need more weekend trips!

Guess I have to start a new post for the RS....starting mileage is 7472.

Well, not as much as I would have liked but ended with 10067. Put me just shy of 2600. Next year I hope to double that. Also, my commute is 2.5 miles one way so....I need more weekend trips!

Think Supertramp and Take the longway home. But don't look at my girlfriend.  Hahaha

Is she the only one you got?
You never see a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrists' office.
Where am I?

My stats in brief:

17,308 miles in 2019
10 different motorcycles (four of them I owned at the time, one of those now sold)

Nearly a third of my annual miles were done in one five-week period. Details here for anyone interested: http://www.theridesofar.com/2020/01/my-year-in-riding-2019-with-lots-of-links/

Spreadsheet of mileage: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CLFMGrbubRH6dqH5C_8yh-3HyrlTwCDGmrAK39MAILo/edit?usp=sharing

That article also includes links to reviews and other pieces I wrote.
Whitehorse Gear is getting out of the publishing business and I'm closing out remaining stocks of my book. Now just $10, personally signed and shipping is free in the U.S.

Yes. With the constant moving every couple years, I only have one at a time.
A straight road never made a skilled rider.

2015 FJ-09 Start=35,577   End= 43,970   Miles ridden=8393
2009 DR650  Start=18,623  Sold in April at 19,210   Miles ridden=587
2019 CRF450L Purchased in March Start=0   End=4001

Maybe a couple hundred more on wife's and daughter's bikes.  I primarily ride the CRF now so not as many miles but probably more time riding.

I got started on 2020 Saturday, mostly just enough to charge batteries, 20 on the SD and 30 on the adventure.
the above are merely the ramblings of a hamfisted fuckwit who has broken too many helmets.

Zero, zip, nada.

With the kids being a thing now, the only riding time I normally get is my commute.  Since Little Bit attends preschool at my school, even that was denied me this year.  I mothballed the Ninja for the year last winter. :bluduh:

Thanks for saying so, Virginian. I always hesitate to post links, feeling it could be seen as a little too self-promotional, but so far no one has complained so I occasionally will until someone does.
