Learned how to make meth, think I'll stick wih my day job..

Which method?

the one in the Gatorade bottle, sudoephine, lithium, camp fuel, then muriatic acid/salt ?? looks dangerous as hell to me and the explosions on video were cool. morgue shots of some of the cooks were good too ;)

Ah, the one-pot method. Either you get meth or an explosion. Bottom end product yield, not suitable for sale, just personal use as you swirl the drain of life.

yep, apparently its the biggest danger now, "labs" are not a big deal around here anymore and these "bombs" are what our guys are most likely to stubble upon. also had some good training on marijuana grows on public lands. stumbling on to them is not a good deal either...
the above are merely the ramblings of a hamfisted fuckwit who has broken too many helmets.

Gotta have your 'A' game face on responding to lab fires.  Too cold to grow marijuana here outside, but you do get some 'interesting' electrical wiring in some of the indoor grow facilities.

I did not know this:

Quote from: AVWeb
The resumption of supersonic passenger travel is getting closer to reality, NASA said this week, as the agency's aeronautics researchers are making progress in developing low-sonic-boom technology. "Lessening sonic booms … is the most significant hurdle to reintroducing commercial supersonic flight," said Peter Coen, head of the High Speed Project in NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate. Efforts now underway at NASA include research into how people react to a variety of sounds, how to predict the occurrence of the booms, and how to make them quieter. Engineers now believe the design of a practical low-boom supersonic commercial jet is "within reach," NASA said.

The NASA researchers presented the results of their research this week at a conference in Atlanta, Ga., hosted by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Aircraft designs now being tested are characterized by a needle-like nose, a sleek fuselage and a delta wing or highly swept wings -- shapes that result in much lower booms. But sonic booms aren't the only technical issue to overcome before supersonic passenger jets can take off. "Other barriers include high altitude emissions, fuel efficiency and community noise around airports," Coen said.

I just didn't learn anything today. I just pointed out to the hospital that keeping a medically fit, high risk sex offender next to a female ward was dumb. Then I discharged him.

Thanks, Clay...you've ruined doves for me now.

I also learned that when you tell that to people my age, they'll think about Pink Floyd for the rest of the day.

We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

You can use Windows Easy Transfer Wizard's 'External Harddrive' option to backup a corrupt Windows profile onto a partition of the internal harddrive.
You can then delete the profile, make a new one and recover the data and settings.
Kinda extra cool that the old and new profiles do not have to be named the same.

There is no dark side of the moon, really.  As a matter of fact it's all dark.

So, with all darkness, you're saying noone's Pink?

Congratulations Pennsylvania!
You now have a State Aircraft!
Quote from: AVWeb
The historic Piper J-3 Cub is now the official aircraft of the state of Pennsylvania. Governor Tom Corbett has signed into law the legislation, known as Act 73. State Rep. Mike Hanna, D-Clinton/Centre, who has spearheaded the campaign, said he is elated. "At long last, the exploits of the Piper Cub, and the people who made the engineering marvel, receive their just recognition," said Hanna, whose H.B. 1989 made the designation official. "Let the world know that Lock Haven gave birth to the plane whose popularity in peace and war remains unparalleled 77 years after it first began production."

Might be good to pick one up since most of the state's bridges are falling apart.

RIP Resa. I'm betting she was loved and gave love tenfold.
