Up until lap 15, I was feeling pretty good with my picks and ready to settle in on a good 93/46 dog fight. I had 25 spot on, overestimated 04 and underestimated 42 and 5.  In the back of my mind I was worried it would turn into a flag to flag and hedged my bets a little in that way.

Don't forget to get your picks in for the final round. Looks like it will be "bucketing down" as the British announcers like to say, so that throws some more uncertainty into the mix.

Team HM Faceplant and Punk Ass Kid have had a tremendous battle most of the season for the last spot on the podium, and I have at least an outside shot at denying Biking Sailor the EOE Cup in his rookie year.

Make your picks!

never seen so many DNFs on my picks before. Looks like the door is swung wide open.

And the 2018 EOE Cup champion is:

We don't know!

I told you guys we needed a tie-breaker in place this year.

Meanwhile, in the fight for the last podium spot, which has been going on for many rounds, Punk Ass Kid nipped Team HM Faceplant at the line.

Biking Sailor and I tied for 254th worldwide. Basically, everyone in the EOE Cup who didn't have a DNS finished in the top 1000 worldwide.

Feeling a bit like Pol Espargaro right now. Just thankful to be on the podium.

A great season, thanks for doing this I'll be back next year and hopefully keep the DNF's to a minimum.

Was a cool moment. Lots of adversity throughout the season and finally gets on the podium of the last race.

Although again I had Rossi pretty high, then he goes down to break my heart.  :o

Again. I sure hope Yamaha solves their problems over the winter.

Bugger!  Everyone hit the ground!  49 points.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation.

Crazy race. Only two people in the world scored in the 90s in this round. I never expected to score 55 points and still make up the five points I needed to catch Biking Sailor.

So basically you can blame Vale for costing you the EOE Cup outright championship. Sounds like you had him higher than me in both the last two races, so if he hadn't crashed in both, you'd have won easily.

Well I don't think he did it on purpose.   ;D  And one guy doesn't, or shouldn't, make or break my score. Previous races I seemed to be on the wrong side of Rins' results regularly.

Basically I thought Rossi was capable of really good race pace based on analysis of his practice and qualifying lap times in the last two races. In this last weekend his dry times sucked, but his wet times, FP1, 2 & 3 along with the morning warmup had him in the top 5 on those sessions. He was doing even better than I had thought in both races until hitting the floor.

Funny thing is, I'm no Rossi fan. Lot of respect for what he has accomplished over so many years and how even at 39, he is still competitive with the top younger guys. Don't know why but I find myself pulling for Spanish riders a lot.
