Gulp - who wants to ride it to NC?
You may find yourself living in a shotgun shack  -You may find yourself in another part of the world
You may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile- You may find yourself in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife-
You may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?

Have at it, Chris!  I was looking at transport back and it ain't easy to come by.  DNA posted a few days ago he was in Chapel Hill, NC area.  Plenty of transport options in Raleigh, not easy to get to  BFE, PA.

Our company has dealings with UNC Chapel Hill; there's always a reason for me to head down there, and I'm always happy to run north, grab a beer with Joe and/or Tim while in the area.

Up for sale is my 1994 Honda VFR750.  Its in Pennsylvania USA.  $1800 in USD.  I'm willing to negotiate delivery, or help with shipping, etc.

A really nice little bike.  I simply don't ride it much, and it deserves to be ridden.  Actually, I've only ridden it a couple hundred miles in the last three years and some of that was for track days.

It sports an Ohlins remote adjustable rear shock, reworked forks with adjustable preload, a Two Brothers musical instrument, braided brake lines front and rear, and Throttlemeister heavy bar ends.  A rear cowl is included. The rear wheel in the pictures is not included but could be for a price, the correct wheel for the bike is included as well as new Conti tires front and rear.  A centerstand is included as well.  There's a Corbin seat that needs to be recovered, as well a a good stock seat.

The fairings have cracks and damage but are intact.  It takes a bit to get started when its cold out (less than 40F), but once run a bit it really runs fine.  I keep non-ethanol gas in it.  I've had it on the track a couple times, and was very pleased with the stability and handling there, as well as on the street.  And the exhaust is just sweetness.  There's 32k and change on the odometer.

Its far from perfect but has a lot of good bits on it, and its priced for that reason.  I was told the previous owner paid for all the suspension and such, still got left in the dust by his friends on GSXR's, got mad and parked the bike, which is when I got it.

Here's some pics if you're still reading.  Contact via PM or to ixxion97@yahoo.com

Should I pick up oil and filter for that too?  We're gonna do fresh juice on the FZ before it's trip home Saturday.  If you like, we can juice the VFR too.

Assuming we can figure out logistics that sounds awesome!

I know you just want to get hands on piped VFR for a bit and your trip south may be a long way off...

there's no way to check the number of tire rotations between the front tire and the rear tire, right?

I leave tomorrow, noonish (eastern). I'm happy to run it down tonight if I can snag it from Joe. My weekend completely got away from me. I'm happy to loan my trailer to anyone who might be able to step in, too.

How far are you from Joe?
Could you bring it down on your next run to Chapel hill when you get back?
Works fro me if it fits in with your schedule.

Absolutely can do. Happy to. I'll get with Joe as soon as I'm back from the UK, and just have it staged here, ready to go, then I'll check the work schedule, and make it happen.

Are you and Joe paid up, or do I have to transport payment or anything? I'm good with whatever, just don't wanna get ahead of things when scheduling.

Just waiting on a plan of some sort, so have a look at the schedule and I will plan my travel around yours to the extent I can!

I'm super flexible, too, so I'm happy to work to yours. Yes, I have to hit Chapel Hill from time to time, but I also work 100% at home, and on my own schedule, so I can make pretty much anything work.

I'm still completely in the dark as to where you moved, Chris.  I'm three hours north of Harrisburg, and there isn't one damned road south of me that isn't flooded right now.

Wheeeeeeeeeee. I'm like 10 minutes from where I used to live, near the storage garage where we met before. When it's time, I'm super happy to come up and grab the bike. Iv'e been wanting to get back up to Potter and Tioga counties, so I'll just make a big loop of it. No worries at all.
