Don't know the mileage on the bike but rode the VFR .2 miles last Saturday to a new storage unit. Without a license plate.  :gdog:

I keep track in a spreadsheet, but the two bikes currently have:

KTM 1190 Adv - 28,570 miles
KTM 530 EXC - 10,520 miles (326 hours)

My goal for 2018 is 10K miles on the 1190 (no big trips planned) and 100 hours on the 530. Lots of mixed surface, dirt roads, and trail riding in those numbers. The rear tire bill on the 1190 is going to be huge running TKC80s (or equiv). Could be the last season for both bikes if the upcoming Yamaha T7 or KTM 790 Adv are as good as they appear to be.

OK, so over the flu and weather isn't sucking and a good day to ride and do a bit of maintenance. And record mileage from start of the year.

2007 R1200GS - 41,888
2010 WR250X - 9,080
2004 Thruxton - 24,560

Wife's:
2014 CB500X - 17,950
2015 FJ-09 - 22,575

You guys have inspired me.

In four decades of riding, I have never tracked my mileage, beyond writing down mileage of maintenance tasks in my maintenance log. But I really have no idea how many miles I've ridden lifetime, not only because I never tracked the mileage on my personal bikes, but also because there were a few years I put more miles on test and loaner bikes than I did on my own.

So this year I created a spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12OSrykLUMx6kRdy2PvUxohpqAitlA2Oxn7NuEyIBbvE/edit?usp=sharing) and I'm going to track every mile I ride on two wheels. I'm hoping it will be an above-average year for me in terms of riding, but so far it's off to a snowed-in start.

For the record, here's the starting point on my personal bikes:

1997 Triumph Speed Triple     105,589
2009 Kawasaki Versys 650     80,108
2006 Triumph Daytona 675     15,450
Whitehorse Gear is getting out of the publishing business and I'm closing out remaining stocks of my book. Now just $10, personally signed and shipping is free in the U.S.

Only a measly 5,301 miles this year. 84,452 on her now, and I think my season is done. Haven't done that few since my return to riding with my FZ6. Personal challenges have conspired with a crappy commute, but I plan to change that in 2019. I did enjoy every mile.

Don't forget about the RAIN this past year. I think that cut into everyones riding.

Not sure how many miles I did this year but I did blow up the engine on the DR650. So I have that going for me.

I did put 100 miles on the ZRX so far this year.

OK, 4010 miles this year.  None since 29 June, when I got back from Montana.

The heads came off the bike a couple days later and my guy says they're nearly done.

Maybe a couple hundred more by the end of the year if I get the heads back.  Just enough to get to the retorque and then the bike will mostly hibernate while I play with the R100/7 that entered my world last week.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation.

Did you post pics of that yet?
