Ephraim Canyon Road, Ephraim UT. Questions for the locals
« on: October 25, 2017, 07:20:09 AM »
From Ephraim UT, Ephraim Canyon Road to Joes Valley Reservoir which turns into RT29.  I was thinking of taking this ultimately from the north (coming from Wyoming) to eventually get to Moab in the summer of 2018.  Planning my route and gathering logistics.  Traveling on a fully loaded Yamaha Super Tenere.  Any information would be helpful.

How is the dirt section of road?

According to Google Maps, it looks like soft pack on the side of the road going east but on the due west side it looks tight and packed.  Will it slow me down considerably?  Or is it a highly travelled road and nothing to be worried about?

Thanks
