Boston Area - USS Constitution - Bars

Hey guys.  We are heading to Boston in a couple weeks and hoping to see the USS Constitution.  On the website it indicates that the museum is open, but the Constitution is closed for renovation.  The website is a little confusing, I know we can't get on the ship, but does anyone know if it still near the museum to see it and get some pictures.  The site indicates its out of dry dock, but I can't decipher where the ship is actually located currently. Thanks for any help.

Also anyone fan favorite bars in Boston you guys would recommend?  We are staying right near Boston Common.  We will be doing a Duck Tour Friday morning to get a lay of the land.  And will be in Boston all day Friday and Saturday and have a game at Fenway Sunday at 1 pm.

The Union Oyster House is the longest-running inn in the country, and it's a great time.

There's a little bar just up the block from cheers, I can't for the life of me remember the name, but omfg, they had an amazing selection of beer for not a lot of money.

I toured the ship last time I was up there. Is it not open any longer?

the museum is right next to the ship. the ship is where it always has been but is in dry dock (unless they've moved it in the past couple of months). Confirm they aren't offering tours... they were when I was there a couple months ago.

The ship was removed from dry dock a couple weeks ago.   The website says no tours at this time.  I would think they put it back in it's normal location to finish the refit.  A call to the museum should confirm this.

Thanks for the info everyone. Heading up there tomorrow.  Looking forward to it. Gonna hit quite a few taverns and do a bunch of the tourist stuff, and Fenway on Sunday.
