I can't believe how little I'm riding

I’m getting out on all three bikes; it’s just mainly trips around the city.

I was thinking “just like last year” and then remembered the trip down to Oregon last June and to our family reunion in Bend and a quick trip with the guys in September...    so maybe not just like last year.

Same here.  I’m filling the bike every other week, but no long weekend rides.  Since COVID, last time I filled the car was April 4th.  Took the battery tender off the Kawasaki and put it on the Toyota.  And that ain’t a bad thing.

I think I'll be taking a lot of short rides this summer, as my "learning to ride" friend has asked me to ride with her while she learns. I'm not sure if I'll get out of the parking lot before summer holiday though

That’s brilliant tho, you providing some riding mentoring.   You are doing a good thing and she will learn a lot.   :bigok:

“... last time I filled the car was April 4th... “

Yeah, every time I get in the car it’s, well, still full of gas.   It’s odd.

Covidbored...so I yanked the BMW out of the barn and rode a whole 25 kilometres! Yay.
Last week we took the Honda for a couple of day rides of about 250kms each. But it’s the same roads over and over. Oh well...nothing we can do until this Covid disaster gets resolved. It’s looking like we won’t be allowed across the border until next season.
My GPS just told me to turn left, then turn left, then turn left, then turn left.
So if I go too far left do I end up right?

Still haven’t put gas in the car since April 4th.

It’s not that great over here.  There’s this contagious fatal disease going around that we can’t get a handle on.

Trust me waiting until next season might be best.

Mrs Smoothie and I are going for a little ride in mid-August, tho.

We are going to be safely socially distant.   I may just wear my helmet the entire time, on and off the bike.
