I assume the dotted line is just what Glympse would route him on, not his planned route.   I hope :)

He has been sitting and spinning in the same spot for a while now.....half way between LaGrange, (nah how how how) and Brenham..

Must be terrible slow traffic or a fuel chiropractor stop.

I know a great place to get oysters in Lafayette. Dirt floor and everything. Plenty of crackers and horseradish.

I'm in Iowa, LA. Can't go no more...

Whelp, I just pulled over and got a hotel. I had a near miss that I'll tell about tomorrow! o_O

I crossed into LA over a huge bridge at Lake Charles, roughly 360 miles today and 300 of it was in the pouring rain.

One teaser pic till I get some time to upload my pics.

Lake Charles at dusk.

Day one 360 miles:

So yesterday on a red eye I flew into Austin and within 10 minutes Colin greeted me and we were off to AF1. Again, props to Colin as he's a super guy and if you purchase from AF1 please give him a call!

My gear at o-dark-thirty... I really was stressing about checking in a bag and it not making the destination. Both bags are my life support on this journey.

Some eye candy at AF1. HOLY Mama Celeste of Italian bikes in their showroom! Just awesome and I finally got to throw a leg over the El Dorado!

Ok, I'm at Transportation Revolution in NO. Scoots in for service and I'm foregoing lunch to get this updated. It's getting hot so i switched into shorts and sneakers. I'm uploading pics now so give me a few.

Hopefully NOT of shorts and sneakers.
