Not a Reddit user, but my son was just telling me that when folks post stolen bikes on the motorcycle subreddit (r.motorcycle), that whole community starts searching Craigslist and other sites to see if they're for sale. He says he thinks they've found 6 or 7 this year, which isn't a lot compared to the number of bikes stolen, but it's something. Maybe you can give that a shot, klr.

Motorcycle thieves should be dragged to the towns square and shot publicly.
You never see a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrists' office.

That's it?????   come on. for all the misery they give people, the owner of said stolen bike should have the option to do to them whatever they want for however long it takes to get bored,  THEN take the thief to the town square and have em shot....  by the owner if they so choose.

I'm getting old and soft. You are correct. Their families should be forced into slave labor to replace the motorcycle, even if it recovered, after all, it has soiled by the thief.

I haven't really spent much time contemplating what I'd like to see done to the thief...

My main line has been "I want my bike back".

I deposited the cheque from my insurance company today, they got somewhat within the ballpark of a fair price for the machine.  I know that it is time for me to move on and stop lamenting that some dork dragged off my bike

However, the reality is, I still want my bike back :-[

Ugh. That sucks. As a fellow WR250X owner -- that sucks even more.
