WOW!!!! What a few days... Allow me to dominate this thread for a bit:
Arrived early on Saturday for pick up in Columbus. Amazing. While the parking lot drug deal feel wasn't ideal, it did get us back on the road quickly and allowed for a timely arrival home so Hemi could meet the house and property with some daylight. He did AMAZING on the ride home. Kim sat in the back with him. He spent some time in his little bed but mostly just racked out on the blanket and chewed on some random stuff between potty breaks. There was snow most of the ride home so he got to experience a little of that falling during pit stops.
When we got home, we walked him around a little bit, showed him our intended potty spot for him and just let him snork around for a while. He loves sticks and dirt and rocks and moss and rocks and sticks. He's all boy. Of course he has a ton of energy but we have a ton of property and some of it is steep so we got this part down. Come on puppy, climb the hill again. And.....sleep.

We took him into town and he met 30 people. There's an unspoken rule about 100 people before 3 months of age making for good socialization. He did great. We sat at the Starbucks for a while so Mommy could get some high speed work done. Other than being the creepy guy w/ the puppy hanging outside the coffee shop, it went well.
Then the snow came. That will be a different series of posts and photos.
