Ok, so I wasn't the only one thinking that.

I was thinking it too! I thought, "Holy smokes...that dog met Barty Crouch, Jr.!!!"
I used to make a bigger impression.

Like many parents, as "the kids" get older, the camera comes out less often. But hey, how often does "the kid" have a 1st birthday? So I made a hat and had Dan take some pictures.

Dane or dane mix? You had a dozen of them? They look bigger than labs, and coloring suggest danes. If you had a dozen dane puppies, I'm coming to visit!

She's pure-bred Dane; the puppies weren't ours -- we were just lucky enough to get one!

I have a weak spot for big square heads like labs and Danes, just love 'em.

I always wanted a 'to scale' dog, too. :) But I had labs when I was a kid.

Is that David Tennant?

No, but I have been mistaken for him in passing on several occasions, called a lookalike, and even when he was filming FrightNight here in NM we were going to go find him since I was drinking with the crew. Sadly, we were too drinky to drivey and findy.

Sure, it wouldn't take much but it's kind of fun carrying my pugs around like a 12 pack. ;)

This little blue-eyed cutie (~6 months old) is a temporary house guest.

Her curiosity knows no bounds; love to attacks toes, and she is nipping my arm and back right now because I'm typing and not petting her  :o

The biggest problem is that Queen "B" of the house is old and set her in ways.  She wants no part of the young punk who's invaded her sanctuary.

I like cats more than I like most people. My allergy meds are on an IV drip at this point. For the first time in my life, I'm really saying "that's it, when these die off, I'm done." :(

The problem is, two of them are pretty young, so I've got a fairly long wait.

OtherGrey looks exactly like my Himalayan/Chocolate Siamese mix from 40 years ago. Except for the tail. His name was Elijah Blue. His dad was a neighbor's huge Chocolate Siamese that regularly beat up on any dog that came around.

Nice! :)

We have... a selection of cats. I still don't know how we ended up like this. We rescued OtherGrey's mom from the mean streets of Westfield, PA; she took up residence under my uncle's deck, and when we realized that she'd been abandoned (she'd well outgrown the collar on her, and it was far too tight), and was so sweet, we decided to give her a home.

Of course the little slut was knocked up.

We already had Nin (a seriously bitchy but beautiful Siamese) who was Liz's cat since she was a new kitten and who's about 11 now, Gunther whose full name is "Fuzzers G McStryperPants The G Is For Gunther", who is, straight up the coolest cast in existence (he's about 3), and then there's Abby. Dear sweet 5 year old poor brain damaged Abby. Beautiful jet black green eyed panther of a cat, but holy shit, she's bonkers (in a harmless and useless way).

So yeah... five. Dear god, how did this happen?

Did you drink out of the same glass as Conpilot?

I miss that guy.
