New York City IMS
« on: December 13, 2013, 06:41:32 PM »
Heading there early tomorrow.  Have to see how bad the weather is when we leave.  Not supposed to start really snowing until lunch time last I looked.  I still think the idea to move it from the last weekend in January to two Saturdays before Christmas in the largest city in the US is a mistake.  I'm guessing it had to have been a scheduling issue with the Javits Center.

I went last year.

Every other year is enough for me.

Have fun and don't forget your camera...

On our way home in the snow.  I got some pics but not tons of them.  I usually only hit the areas that interest me.  I got some nice RT pics for you Max.  I should have them up sometime tonight.

That would be me and my girl sitting on it.  :D

She LOVED it.  The rep said 607lbs wet.

Yeah, I figured that out after I posted that. How did the seat height seem? There are three available seat with different heights, all lower than my current GS.

I'm just under 6' 2" with a 34-35" inseam.  The rep said there were multiple heights.  The bike felt great.  It's hard to tell in the pics but it's a black cherry color.  It was sharp and getting a lot of attention.

They moved it back upstairs so there was a lot more room.  But with the weather it wasn't as packed.  This was my 5th consecutive year going.

I wish I had more time to look at all the bikes.  We were on a gear hunt for my girl and wanted to leave by noon, so 3 hours was all we had.  First time I remember KTM and aprilia having display areas.

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Excuese Me!

I never liked red all that much.  Even my Ducati was silver.  And I'll never own a Honda, so I'm good on the off road side too!  :D
