I rented 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' to chill out at home since I don't go out after dark on St Pattys Day...
What a collage of WTF.
First, it should have been named 'Three Billboards'
No real character development, which led to no empathy
The plot seemed to be guessing what the plot was meant to be
There were a couple of points in the movie where the timeline was jumped without notice
I could go on, but I won't dignify it with any more
I looked it up on the internet afterwards...
It's (supposedly) a 'dark comedy'
A comedy about; rape, murder, maternal angst, injustice, domestic violence, religion, racism, arson?!?!?
Then I found, it was written, directed and produced by one person. Something I abhore.
And, that person is a Londoner. Conveing his concept of small town America.
