Priceblink
« on: November 27, 2013, 03:58:32 PM »
Just wanted to share a site I'm finding to be very helpful already.  Priceblink.com.  I read about it in Reader's Digest and downloaded it as a Google Chrome add on.  When you view something for sale, such as on Amazon, it finds the same product for a lower price, if available, on another site and lets you know.  I've only used it for a week now but have saved some money on it a few times now.  I use Amazon a lot and with Christmas coming I'll use it even more.  I was looking at a pair of sport earbuds.  The add on popped on showing me Ebay had it for about $10 less and also had free shipping.
Just trying to do my little part here.  Use it or don't.
Cheers

Can you turn it on and off?

Don't know.  What it does is open a small announcement at the top showing the same thing at another site cheaper, if it's truly cheaper.  There is an X on there where I close that when I'm not interested.  It has not caused an issue so far.  I was looking at something on Amazon and Priceblink popped in saying it was cheaper at such and such with free shipping.  Saved me $10.
