Netflix Fav's

Ok!  What are some of the "off-Hollywood" Netflix favorites?

I'll start with:

13 Assassins.  Absolutely superb period piece - a story about 13 Samurai rebelling against the Shogun.  Wonderfully told and excellent directing.

Damn.  Was that really a good idea?

I watched Longmire on Netflix. I really enjoyed it. Sadly it did not warrant another season.  :-[

Susan and I spend more time watching Netflix via blue-ray or online than we do anything else.

However, they really need to get their server shit together. We tried to watch Flight with Denzel Washington last Saturday. I think this was the day or maybe the day after they put it up. They were totally overwhelmed and we couldn't finish watching the movie because it kept stopping and giving us failure to connect errors.
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

We have watched "Weeds" and now "The League".   Don't know if they are off Hollywood but we enjoyed them!

Tammy just got a Netflix membership (with the first month free), so of course the first thing I watched was Iron Sky:lol:

Cat Run - and odd mix of comedy, boobs, spy thriller and gore. Paz Vega. The guy who played Scotty in Euro Trip. Some other folks.

Not sure if it's off-Hollywood or not, but I've been working my way through Jericho for the last couple of weeks. Pretty good show. Too bad it never lasted.

With enough thrust, a pig flies just fine.

Oh, just remembered:

The Good, The Bad and the Weird.

A Chinese take on a Spaghetti Western meet Indiana Jones meets Kung Fu Hustle.  Hugely entertaining!
