Loan me a Givi E21?
« on: May 13, 2014, 01:45:14 PM »
Can anyone loan me a Givi E21 side case? Helping someone with modifying a set of side racks for a one off installation and need to do some placement and measurement checks.

The "someone" doesn't have one for you to use?

No. Racks first. He didn't buy cases yet. I can empathize with folks on a budget... Riding unsupported bikes. :)

You likely know this, but Givi cases have a very limited number of mounting options/dimension . . . . perhaps a different case might help with at least part of the puzzle.
We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

The issue is placement on the bike so as not to get too close to the exhaust lighting footpegs other things.
