Seattle peeps: be on the lookout for this stolen XT225
« on: May 03, 2014, 10:05:54 AM »
From my buddy Rashmi in Seattle.  She's an avid sport-tourer and has ridden all over the world.  I know the odds are low of finding her bike this way but I want to help her try!

"Stolen from outside my apartment - 2006 Yamaha XT225 with a ton of mods: aftermarket windshield, kickstarter and bash plate, Acerbis handguards, white Clarke tank, Happy Trails OSR side racks, Borrego top rail, Gerbing heated gear cable. License plate is 3A5973."

I admit that when I first read the title I thought of the XT225 that you kept in my garage. I was confused, to say the least.

I hope that your friend finds her bike. Check out Federal Way  C:-)

Details? Did a lynch mob string them up off the nearest tree? (Is that still allowed out west?)
You never see a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrists' office.
Where am I?

Seattle.  There was a group hug of the thief to express their support of him through his 'troubles.'

Probably scared him good 'n' straight!
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation.

Hee! I don't know any details.  Rashmi just said the cops called her and said they'd found it a few blocks away with a dead battery.  :D
